Quixote Quest is a civic group fighting power abuse, falsity and corruption in the public life and inpinging public affairs, i.e., also those of our co-citizens, whithout aspiring for a mandate arising from the elections. We speak in our own name, enjoying the freedom of speech, which is one of the residual freedoms in post-democratic society. We are, however, most concerned to present only information we can fully guarantee. We rely on moral ideals as expressed in christian decalogue or in even more ancient sources... |
OUR CASES
Our litigations may seem petty. As a matter of fact, the point is usually petty, e.g., how our authorities deal with the requests and complaints, how the right of free acces to information is applied, what happens, is a state insttitution brakes the law in a flagrant and provable way or if it follows the letter of the law in a most formalistic way neglecting or contradicting its meaning, etc. Unlike many more important cases which are known from the media, our cases are well documented and verifiable by personal testimonies. At the moment we have only two cases described in English. Others are described only on our Czech pages.
